Jourdy Pranata Learns A Lot From The Character Of His Ex In The Film 'Yakin Nikah'

JAKARTA - Jourdy Pranata learned a lot from his latest character, Geri in the film Yakin Nikah. In this film produced by Adhya Pictures, he acts as a man who invites his ex-lover.

"When I got an offer from Yakin Nikah as Geri from the past, I wasn't the same person as the ex (the other way around) so I broke up, broke up moving on," said Jourdy Pranata at a press conference in South Jakarta on Thursday, October 1.

"But when you become a Geri and look at Geri Niken's motivation and there is an infinity business and oh your ex is not always wrong. So you learn a lot from Geri even though her attitude is mentally unstable and traumatized from the family and refuses to grow up," he explained.

This character is also a reflection of Jourdy Pranata, who is 30 years old. He is the only main character in an unmarried film while his co-star - Enzy Storia and Maxime Bouttier are married.

I saw a relationship to a marriage. At first, I thought that at the age of 30 I had to get married, the work was already there, eh but first, I had to look for something, namely getting to know myself. I see that as readiness after getting to know ourselves and what kind of oldness we want, "explained Jourdy.

Tora Sudiro, who plays the father of Niken (played by Enzy Storia) also admitted that this film gave him many reflections of marriage, especially since he was already experienced in the ups and downs of households.
