A few days ago, netizens from China revealed criticism of the dialogue Jun Ji Hyun said in the latest episode of the Tempest series.
Jun Ji Hyun's character said, "Does China support war? Nuclear bombs could fall in border areas." The dialogue drew criticism on the internet that was said to be related to some of Jun Ji Hyun's ads in China that were canceled.
Tuesday, September 23, a local media reported that Jun Ji Hyun's ad show which was supposed to be broadcast on September 25 was canceled due to the problem.

Jun Ji Hyun's agency, PEACHY! explained that China's ad cancellation had been going on long before the controversy emerged.
"The cancellation of the advertisement was decided before the Tempest series and had nothing to do with the drama," said the same agency.
