Jung Woo Sung Appears First In Public, A Year After Becoming A Father

JAKARTA - Actor Jung Woo Sung made his first appearance in public after a year of missing from radar. He attended the opening of the 34th Film Awards in Busan on Thursday, September 18 yesterday.

Jung Woo Sung wore a black coat and pants. He, known for his clean look, now appears with a little mustache and beard.

As a presenter, the actor spoke about his enthusiasm to host the show and briefly discussed his latest series, Made in Korea.

Whether as a presenter or a recipient, standing on stage for award events is always tense. I don't think a feeling like this will stop until I stop acting," Jung Woo Sung quoted The Korea Times as saying.

He then handed over the trophy to Lee Byung Hun who won the Best Actor category for the film The Match. He also admitted that he could not describe Made in Korea's series.

"It's hard to explain in words," said Jung Woo Sung again.

Jung Woo Sung's presence as one of the presenters is a continuation after he won the Best Actor category at the Buil Film Awards in 2024.

Jung Woo Sung withdrew from the public after controversy over his illicit relationship with the model Moon Gabi. Woo Sung admits Moon Gabi's son is his biological son despite denying they have a relationship.

Later, several Korean media revealed that Jung Woo Sung had registered his marriage with his girlfriend for 10 years.
