Modern Prone Fast Food Restaurant Officially Opened In Pontianak

JAKARTA - Pontianak residents now have a new choice to relax, gather, as well as enjoy the experience of dining with modern nuances. An international fast food restaurant officially opens its first branch at the heart of the city, to be precise on Jl. General Ahmad Yani No. 5, South Pontianak.

Its presence adds new colors to people's lifestyles, especially for those looking for comfortable public spaces to gather with family, friends, and communities.

The Mayor of Pontianak, Edi Rusdi Kamtono, assessed that the presence of this kind of investment had a wider impact on the city.

"Pontianak is a city of trade and services, incoming investment will have a direct impact on local employment and urban economic growth. Currently, the unemployment rate in Pontianak is at 8.29%, because it is very important to build intelligent and skilled human resources to be able to work anywhere," he explained in a press statement from McDonald's Indonesia to VOI.

In addition to presenting new hangouts, this restaurant also opens job opportunities for 22 Pontianak youth who receive international standard training.

Not only focusing on dining services, the presence of this new branch is also accompanied by social activities. The management team visited the Achmad Yani Putra Putri Orphanage and Muhammadiyah Tunas Melati, as well as handed over donations of worship equipment to the Grand Mosque of Mujahideen.

"Our commitment is to empower local workers through intensive training that not only builds technical skills, but also develops the necessary soft skills in the fast food restaurant industry," added Yunus, the management representative.

With a capacity of up to 170 seats, this restaurant is designed as a friendly space for all people. There are prayer rooms, children's play areas, free Wi-Fi, large parking lots, to 24-hour services. The concept presents modern nuances that are not only comfortable for eating, but also for work, learning, or just chatting.
