Robert De Niro Injured In Martin Scorsese's New Film

JAKARTA - Actor Robert De Niro reportedly suffered a leg injury while filming Martin Scorsese's latest film, Killers of the Flower Moon in Oklahoma.

According to Deadline today, May 14, the incident did not take place while filming. The cause of the wound is also unknown, but the production process will continue.

De Niro also confirmed that his scheduled return to New York for two weeks had nothing to do with the injury.

Killers of the Flower Moon is Scorsese's latest film starring De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. The film follows an investigation into a mysterious 1920 murder in Oklahoma.

Robert De Niro played the role of William Hale, while DiCaprio played Ernest Burkhart. In addition to the two, the film stars Lilly Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Jason Isbell, and Sturgill Simpson.

Killers of the Flower Moon will air on Apple TV+. This week, the streaming service shared the first photo of the film.
