Through Agape The Unconditional Love Film, Meriam Belina Reveals Its Weight To Be A Caregiver

JAKARTA - Meriam Bellina has again starred in a feature film entitled Agape The Unconditional Love. He shared his personal experience of how it feels to be a caregiver to those closest to him.

He admitted that this role was not easy because it needed patience, determination, and great sacrifice.

"My sister, my mother, my papa, so I feel that being a caregiver is very heavy and indeed Agape really represents the feelings of a caregiver who must go through his ego, go through his impatientness," said Meriam Belina in the Friday area, August 29.

Furthermore, this senior actress also shared how difficult it is to deal with the condition of sick people, especially when they do not easily understand the good intentions of the person who treats them.

"Because often those who are sick don't want to understand our language, which is also half-dead, it's difficult and sad to see them like that," he said.

According to Meriam, the role of caregivers often makes a person have to put aside personal feelings to accompany people who are struggling with pain.

This is what makes him feel very connected to the story of sacrifice that is reflected in Agape's story.

"So maybe it's because of personal experience too, so yes, it really takes this sacrifice," he concluded.

The film Agape The Unconditional Love in general tells the story of eight people from different backgrounds meeting at the hospital.

Sania (Maudy Koesnaedi), the single mother who fought for her daughter Kirana (Sararah Beatrix) who was sick withlies, Gigi (Rania Putrisari) and Gino (Prince Lantang), the orphaned brothers who took care of each other, Daffa (Tanta Ginting) and Bimo (Samuel Rizal) two friends who were tested by illness and sacrifice as well as Yosua (To Pakoesadewo) and Martha (Meriam Bellina), an elderly couple with time-tested love. They are all connected through injury, hope, and love.

In the midst of family conflicts, fear, and misunderstanding, Gino's sincere singing became a turning point that brought them together.

Singing for Kira is a story of love in various forms of maternal love, brotherhood, true friends, and life partners who are present in the midst of pain, and heal through warmth.

The film itself is planned to air on September 4.
