Paula Verhoeven's Complaint About The Alleged Violation Of The Code Of Ethics For South Jakarta PA Judges Will Be Processed By KY

JAKARTA - Paula Verhoeven reported the Panel of Judges at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) (Jaksel) to the Judicial Commission (KY) regarding the alleged violation of the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct of Judges (KEPPH) in her divorce case. The report was submitted directly and is currently being processed by KY.

"The reporter has submitted a public report regarding the alleged violation of the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct of Judges (KEPPH) related to the divorce case he faced at KY," said KY member and KY spokesman Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata, Friday, April 18.

He emphasized that the report would be handled in accordance with the applicable mechanism. "The report on the alleged violation of the judge's code of ethics will certainly be processed in accordance with applicable procedures," he continued.

"The first stage is to verify the formal and material completeness of this report, then to carry out analysis," continued Mukti Fajar.

Paula Verhoeven, who came to KY, directly expressed a number of her objections to the decision of the panel of judges who handled her divorce from Baim Wong.

"I will convey several points, including this report, in this case the Panel of Judges was wrong in taking into account the verdict," said Paula Verhoeven.

He also considered that the evidence he submitted was ignored by the panel of judges. And also reported in deciding not to follow the evidence presented from the facts of the trial," he continued.

On the one hand, Paula expressed her concern over the impact of the news circulating on her children.

"This slander is too far away, here I have two sons, where one day when they grow up they will see the news that is currently circulating which is so massive," said Paula Verhoeven, holding back tears.
