Kim Min Hee Revealed That A Boy Has Been Born With Hong Sang Soo

JAKARTA - Kim Min Hee and Hong Sang Soo reportedly welcomed their first child on Tuesday, April 8. Launching Yonhap News, the actress gave birth in the Hanam area.

Currently, he is still recovering at a postpartum center in Hanam, South Korea. Their first child is male.

In January, Kim Min Hee was revealed to be pregnant with her first child with Hong Sang Soo. A month later, he was seen with the director at Incheon Airport with his stomach starting to grow.

The two were also seen shopping together where Min Hee was seen carrying groceries with Hong Sang Soo.

The relationship between the two has been controversial since it was revealed in 2016. At that time, Hong Sang Soo was still married and had a daughter.

Then they admitted the affair in 2017. Hong Sang Soo has left the house and lived with Kim Min Hee for nine years.

Hong Sang Soo has also filed for divorce from his wife, but cannot be processed because his wife did not reject the required documents.

Kim Min Hee and Hong Sang Soo continue to collaborate in various films. They last worked together in the film By the Stream which aired at the 2024 Locarno Film Festival. Kim Min Hee also received the Leopard award for Best Performance in the film.
