JAKARTA - Changi Airport in Singapore, which has the highest indoor waterfall in the world, was selected as the best airport in Asia at this year's Reader's Choice Awards by the Destination travel magazine.

The airport has again won the title as the best airport in the Asia-Pacific region and is often also in the world, according to the magazine.

Changi is known for providing a smooth travel experience. Its facilities include automatic check-in and immigration gates, areas decorated with modern art and green plants, 24-hour cinemas, various choices of places to eat, and many more.

Recently, Changi became one of the first airports in the world to implement an immigration system without passports at all terminals. With this system, passengers can pass immigration checks in just 10 seconds.

Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok is in second place, followed by Hong Kong International Airport. Next, the fourth position is Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. Meanwhile, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta is in sixth place.
