Face Filled With Badminton, Viral Teenager Called Wolf Man

JAKARTA - A teenager from India, Lalit Patidar has become the world's talk after being named the man with the furthest face by Guinness World Records. With more than 95% of his face covered in hair, he set a record as a human with the densest face overgrown with fur.

Reporting from the New York Post page, according to the Guinness World Records page, Lalit's face was filled with fur with densities reaching 201.72 strands per square centimeter.

The 18-year-old was born with a rare condition called hypertricosis or known as wolf syndrome, which causes excessive hair growth.

Since the Middle Ages, only 50 cases have been recorded. The case experienced by Lalit makes it a very rare condition, possibly only one in one billion.

To set a record, he went to Milan, Italy, where a trichologist shaved a small part of his hair and measured his density. While in Italy, he also appeared on a TV program.

When he found out that he had officially received a world record, Patidar admitted that he was very surprised and happy.

"I can't say anything, I don't know what to say because I'm very happy to get this confession," he said.

Patidar said that when he first entered school, his classmates were afraid of him. However, over time they realized that their initial impression was wrong.

"Initially they were scared, but after getting to know and talk to me, they understood that I was no different from them. I just looked different from the outside, but inside I remained the same," he said.

He is proud of his appearance and active on social media, with 265,000 followers on Instagram and 108 thousand on YouTube.

When someone suggested that he shave his face, Patidar casually admitted that he was comfortable with himself.

"I don't have much to say about that. I'm just saying that I like myself as I am, and I don't want to change my appearance." he concluded.
