Enlivening The Indonesian Chinese Film Exhibition, Hong Yue The Excitement Story Of Film Film G For Gap

JAKARTA - The second day of the Indonesian Chinese Film Exhibition which was held in Senayan, Central Jakarta, screened two of their flagship films in China entitled G for Gap and Life of Luosang.

Also attending were Life of Luosang director Zhang Gudong and actress Hong Yue who played Woody's Mother in the film G for Gap to enliven this event.

On this occasion, Hong Yue shared the excitement during the shooting process for the film G for Gap which was carried out in several locations in China.

"The shooting of this film is Neijiang City, Sichuan, China with Chinese director Long Fei and screenwriter Huang Jia," explained Hong Yue in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 15.

He explained that one of his favorite scenes in this film is when his character can chat with his neighbors which for him is very close to the original life.

"For this film, I shot last summer. I also like the scene of Woody's mother telling her neighbors about their lives," explained the winner of the two Goldenmen's Awards.

Hong Yue also represented the team expressing his gratitude to the audience who looked enthusiastic about watching today's film screening.

"Actually in China, many big films are no less exciting with films being screened during the exhibition. If there is time, you can go to Beijing and experience life there," he said.

Film G for Gap dirilis 8 Juni 2024 di China. Film ini dikenal dengan judul Gold ataumen. Film G for Gap menceritakan tentang Woody, seorang pria yang kesah hati karena kemundur dalam karier dan kehidupan cintannya, memilih untuk kembali ke kabulannya dalam keadaan depresi.
