JAKARTA - International exhibitions are one of the means for creative industry players to introduce their works to a wider market. In addition to opening up business cooperation opportunities, events like this also become a space for cultural exchange that shows how local heritage can be developed into products that are relevant to the needs of the global community.

In this context, PT Sarinah (Persero) participated in MASA Singapore 2026 (A Movement Across Time), an event that brings together Indonesian creative actors in Singapore through various sectors, ranging from fashion, design, art, culinary, music, to hospitality. This event will take place on July 2-5, 2026 at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Gardens by the Bay.

The President Director of PT Sarinah (Persero), Mrs. Raisha Syarfuan said Sarinah's participation in MASA Singapore 2026 is part of the company's efforts to expand access to local Indonesian brands to international markets while strengthening its role as one of the centers of creative economy.

"Singapore is one of the markets that is very relevant for Sarinah because it is a regional hub that brings together various communities, creative industry players, and global consumers who appreciate the quality, design, and story behind a product," explained Mrs. Raisha.

"Through MASA Singapore 2026, we want to introduce local Indonesian brands not only as competitive products, but as a representation of culture, creativity, and craftsmanship that have value and stories. We believe that every work we bring carries the identity of Indonesia, and through Sarinah, these stories can reach a wider audience in the international market," he continued.

In this activity, Sarinah presents 43 curated local brands from eight product categories, including fashion designers, womenswear, menswear, heritage textiles, footwear, accessories, and home living. All participants were selected through a curation process that considers product quality, originality, and the ability to display Indonesian identity in a more contemporary approach.

Sarinah's participation carries the theme "Presenting a Curated Showcase of Indonesian Brands that Redefine Heritage through Contemporary Fashion, Craftsmanship, and Design." The theme reflects the effort to present products that combine cultural elements with modern design so that they can be accepted in various markets.

Meanwhile, MASA Singapore 2026 has the theme "A Sight into the Golden Indonesia Era". This event presents more than 80 brands, creators, artists, and Indonesian creative industry players in various fields. In addition to being an exhibition event, the activity also serves as a platform to bring creative industry players together with various parties through cultural exchanges and trade opportunities.

Sarinah's participation in MASA Singapore 2026 is also in line with the company's transformation as Indonesia's Retail-Based Cultural Experience Centre which focuses on developing collaboration, expanding market access for local products, and strengthening the connection between culture, creativity, and trade through various activities both in and outside the country.
