Comedian and politician Nurul Qomar alias Abah Qomar have been buried today, Thursday, January 9 at TPU Carang Pulang, Banten.

During the funeral procession, the figure of Eko Patrio was present to accompany the departure of the 64-year-old comedian. Representing the family, Eko conveyed his impression on the figure of Abah Qomar.

"With the name Pak Haji Qomar, I testify that Pak Haji is a good person, many friends, many friends, many love Pak Haji," said Eko Patrio in front of Nurul Qomar's tomb.

Eko also mentioned that the figure of Nurul Qomar was a teacher for him and also Indonesian comedians. No wonder he feels lost.

"I consider Pak Haji Qomar to be a teacher for us, parents for all of us. The comedy world has lost legendary figures," said Eko.

His simple and modest lifestyle is an example for his friends who want to follow in the footsteps of Nurul Qomar's life.

"Pak Haji's style, his life is all modest. Many want to be like Pak Haji," he continued.

At the end of the sentence, Eko hopes to open the door of forgiveness for comedian Nurul Qomar and hopes that his family will be given sincerity for his departure.

"Therefore, we are all here, Mr. Haji's extended family, please open the door. Sorry as much as possible if there were mistakes and so on," he explained.
