JAKARTA - Netflix released a new video containing an explanation of the character of the Squid Game 2 series. Starting from several old characters to new characters, this series will continue with Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) looking for the mastermind behind the game.

Squid Game 2 continues Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who returns to play with a mission to end it, as well as the enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) and awaits him.

Three years ago, Seong Gi Hun won the game and was about to go to the United States to catch up with his son. However, the plan stalled after he heard Front Man's voice on the phone. He is determined to find the mastermind behind this game by joining once again.

Im Si Wan plays Myung Gi, a man who suffered losses for being involved in cryptocurrency fraud. He became a fugitive and joined the game for cash.

The character Dae Ho is played by Kang Ha Neul, who Dae Ho is a cheerful man and has been a former marine. He joined this game after being inspired by the story of Seong Gi Hun's success.

Lee Jin Wook plays Gyeong Seok, an artist who likes to take pictures in the theme park. For the treatment of his cancerous daughter, he took part in the game to earn money.

Park Sung Hoon made a surprise by becoming Hyun Ju, a transgender woman who needed money to perform a gender affirmation operation. With her persistence, she wants to follow the game that collides with her life.

Yang Dong Geun plays Yong Sik, a gambler who is in debt and just finds out that his mother is also a participant in the game.

Geum Ja is the mother of Yong Sik (Yang Dong Geun). Geum Ja is a stubborn woman who wants to support her family and wants to pay off her child's debt but she just found out that her child is also involved in the game.

Jung Bae is Seon Gi Hun's best friend who played with Gi Hun in the horse race before Gi Hun joined the game. Now, Jung Bae wants to take part in the game to catch up with his friend's victory.

Jo Yu Ri plays Jun Hee who participates in the game because of investment and he is advised by his friend to get money quickly.

Meanwhile, the Squid Game 2 series will be released on December 26 on Netflix.
