JAKARTA - The Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) was held on Wednesday, November 20 at ICE BSD. Every year, FFI gives awards to figures who have made contributions in the film industry.
This year, the Lifetime Achievement award was given to Imam Tantowi, a director and screenwriter who is active in Indonesian films. He also contributed to the television industry, where he worked on various soap operas.
Imam Tantowi admitted that receiving this award was like waking up from a dream after not being involved in Indonesian films for decades.

Imam Tantowi was born on August 13, 1946, is a director and screenwriter. Before reaching his highest career, Tanotwi had tried all the tasks behind the scenes. Almost all tasks can be done. He started his career by following a drama in 1966 before working on a film poster.
