Back To Pop, Lady Gaga Launches 7th Album, MAYHEM

JAKARTA - Lady Gaga officially released her 7th album titled MAYHEM on Friday, March 7. This album marks Gaga's return to music, especially the Pop genre, which became the root of music from the start.

Single Disease became the main champion before continuing with Abracadabra who showed freedom in music and his strength. These two songs may remind listeners of Gaga's early era of music.

The album contains 14 songs produced by Gaga with Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt, and musician Gesafezelstein. It is known that Gesafezelstein is also Gaga's collaborator in the song Killah.

The entire track reflects Gaga's musical tastes leading to instruments and electronics, of course accompanied by Gaga's vocal abilities.

Starting from Garden of Eden with an electronic guitar, followed by Perfect Celebrity which combines pop rock. Inspired by David Bowie, Vanish's track realized his wish to be continued with a loveDrug with disco nuances.

His last five tracks explored the emotional side, starting with Shadow of a Man, The Beast, Blade of Grass, and closing with Die With a Smile.

In addition, he also included a collaboration with Bruno Mars, Die With a Smile, which is the song with the top position on Spotify Global. This song also won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammys.

This album is his latest work after releasing Harlequin, an album dedicated to the Joker sequel in 2024.

He also collaborated with Tony Bennett to release two jazz albums before Bennett died in 2023.
