Makes Customers Surprised, A Cafe In Australia Offers Milk Coffee Using Breast Milk

Reported by VOI from the 10Play page on Thursday, November 7, 2024, Sergy Boy, a cafe located in Collins Street, Docklands, Melbourne previously offered a variant of the latest milk coffee drink. Last week, the cafe offered coffee concoctions with almond milk, oat, and lactose-free.

A customer who ordered the latest coffee variant was confused when he saw another menu under the choice of the milk coffee. On the menuboard, coffee is written with breast milk which is priced at USD 5 Australia or IDR 52 thousand.

"I saw it when I was about to order coffee in the morning," said one customer.

"I actually don't go to Melbourne often. I'm here on a work trip from Sydney."

"When I went to the counter to order, I saw an ad board that contained a list of all alternative milk options," he explained.

The man from Sydney also asked the cafe staff about the writing on the menu board that confused him. However, cafe staff thought the man wanted to order coffee with a mixture of breast milk.

He immediately confirmed that he did not intend to order coffee with mother's milk. Then the barista explained that the writing was just a gimmick.

"This is just a way to respond to unique alternative milk requests every week," the man said.

"But to be honest, it took me really by surprise. I know Melbourne is known as a hipster and developed-minded city. So I'm not too surprised if they do!" he continued.

This man from Sydney is not the only customer who is surprised by the menu board. An internet user even uploaded a photo of the menu on the Reddit platform.

Finally, a cafe in Melbourne that provides all the types of milk you need, wrote the user on the Reddit platform.

This could be an additional business opportunity. Young mothers who are looking for extra income, said another user.

"I'm sure it will be great," said another user jokingly.

"I just want milk that tastes like real milk," continued another user.

Of course, this conversation about breast milk mixed coffee is increasingly in the spotlight. This makes many people wonder if there are other cafes that dare to offer similar menu choices.
