Harashta Haifa Zahra's Struggle To Win Miss Supranational 2024 Beauty Contest

JAKARTA - Harashta Haifa Zahra managed to record brilliant achievements at the Miss Supranational 2024 event. She became the only representative of Asia and the first Indonesian to win the title at an event that took place at Nowy Sacz, Poland, on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

This woman from Bandung, West Java managed to beat the finalists from 71 countries and was named the first Indonesian princess to win the international beauty pageant.

Now, Harashta tells of her struggle after winning Supranational 2024. Harashta initially thanked Putri Indonesia for entrusting her until she managed to win Miss Supranational 2024.

"I am the daughter of Indonesia in 2024 who went to Poland and I won first place in Indonesia to win Miss Supranational 2024," said Harashta at the Venue Collection Series 3 Platform, when met at the Puncak Venue & Dining Platform, Jl. Raya Puncak, Bogor, West Java on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

This 21-year-old woman won the title 'Supratalent 2024' thanks to her stunning appearance by playing traditional music, performing the song Bubuy Bulan, to dancing to a typical Indonesian dance.

The National Costume Tata wore a black kebaya combined with batik motifs and subordinates of its brown batik cloth. Made by Intan Avantie x Bubah Alfian, this kebaya depicts the figure of Srikandi.

"I brought Indonesian culture, I wore wastra cloth, played music from my heart. I also came from West Java," said Harashta.

"Revolving Indonesia through the singing of the Bubuy Bulan. I played the Balinese dance. It was the Polish people who were amazed," he added.

With a myriad of achievements and charm displayed, Harashta Haifa Zahra has succeeded in making Indonesia proud at the Miss Supranational 2024 event.

On this occasion, Harashta also asked the Indonesian people to protect the environment and love the earth for a sustainable future.

"So at the top it is always on our minds when we want to take a vacation. At the top there is a beautiful sight. But, we are destructive. We are not aware that it is damaging, Indonesia is gone," he added.

"I want to say that as a young generation and Indonesia needs to be considered and remain Indonesian culture, polite." he continued.
