The Early Story Of Angelina Sondakh's Mother, Alami Dementia, Is Moderate

JAKARTA - Celebrity Angelina Sondakh tells about the beginning of her mother, Sjul Kartini Dunolong, who was caught having dementia health problems.

He said that if he was sick, he was caught when Angelina Sondakh's older brother died or when he was 2 years in prison for a corruption case.

"Mamiku went to the detention center and had a little disorder (mental health) when my brother died. I was in prison for 2 years, my brother died. And it turned out that my mother had started it," said Angelina Sondakh in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday, October 21.

Unfortunately, Angelina Sondakh's late father deliberately covered up her mother's illness so that she would not be carried away by stress in prison.

"But my father covered it up. Yes (don't stress). Yes (you take care of yourself) and I feel O Allah, my father is very good. His love for my mother is extraordinary. Because taking care of my mother like this," said Angelina Sondakh.

The mother of one child said that the dementia experienced by her mother was still at a moderate level where she only remembered certain moments.

"Dimensia level is moderate. He is only stuck in one dimension. So, if for example short memory from his thoughts, his thinking is really short. So, maybe breakfast, an hour later he forgot to eat. Ask for food again," explained Angelina Sondakh.

"Then, the dimension that my mother remembers is only when I married my father. Then, my father died. My brother died. In fact, my mother seemed to forget that I had been in prison," he said.
