JAKARTA - Angkringan is one of the delicious Indonesian food venues at affordable prices. However, did you know that there are angkringan that sells food prices of up to millions of rupiah?

The angkringan is located in Karawang, West Java, called Angkringan RC. Citing a video of TikTok user @hendarsugi, the food costs he spends on the angkringan on the receipt are IDR 53 million.

"Ampir ke angkringan viral di Karawang sampai terhabis 53 juta," ucap akun tersebut.

In the food receipt, customers can be seen ordering a satay of 2 stabs. One stab satay is valued at IDR 3 million.

Then there is an order for the mini chikuwa menu, dumping, grilled rice, soslo, to mineral water. The total price of all these foods reached Rp53 million.

However, the price of the angkringan food menu which reaches millions of rupiah is not true. This price turns out to be just a marketing trick to attract customers, because the actual price is only thousands.

"It's just a gimmick. The price is actually just thousands, it's just made unique (millions of rupiah)," he said.

The TikTok user also said that the food being sold in the angkringan was complete and delicious. He said all menus are made of fresh food ingredients.
