Rugrats Animation Ready To Adapt To The Big Screen

JAKARTA - The animated Rugrats event that has aired in the '90s era will be developed in the form of live action in feature films. Paramount is reportedly developing a film plot about the four iconic toddlers.

Rugrats tells the story of toddlers and their daily lives. They are Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, and Phil and Lil DeVille. They are often bullied by Tommy's brother,MINA Pickles.

In addition, Tommy's younger brother, Dil Pickles, Spike dog, as well as both his parents - Didi and Stu Pickles, Chas Finster, Drew and Charlotte Pickles and Betty and Howard DeVille will appear in the film.

Jason Moore, director behind the comedy film Pitch Perfect and Sisters will direct the film. The script was done byte Day and Streeter Seidell.

Rugrats animation premiered at Nickelodeon in 1991 and aired for several seasons. The animation success was realized in the form of films such as The Rugrats Movie (1998), Rugrats in Paris (2000), and Rugrats Go Wild (2003).

Paramount + also had time to make a reboot series entitled All Grow Up! Which was released in 2021.

When the reboot series was announced, this news drew a negative response from the public because it was considered making a profit.

Previously, Jason Moore directed the filmition wedding starring Jennifer Lopez. He is planned to adapt Guncle's book This Time Tomorrow.

Paramount has yet to reveal when the live action version of Rugrats will air.
