Amid Divorce Issues, Paula Verhoeven Praises Baim Wong For Introducing Islam Deeper

JAKARTA - Paula Verhoeven and Baim Wong's household is in the public spotlight after the issue of domestic rifts some time ago. But in the midst of this issue, Paula said that Baim Wong's figure who taught him about Islam was more deeply.

"Masha Allah, when I got to know Baim, actually Baim who introduced me to Islam more, such as recitation, participated in studies. Time before marriage until after marriage," said Paula Verhoeven, quoted by VOI from Instagram @rumpi_ttv, Thursday, October 3.

One of the moments Paula didn't forget was when she was invited to pray with her husband at a shopping center for the first time. "I first prayed at the mall at that time with him," he said.

Therefore, after getting to know Islam better, Paula began to convince herself to wear the hijab from 2019 until now.

"From 2019 to last second I decided to wear the hijab, I kept looking, I knew the hijab was mandatory but 'what is it', the guidance must be pursued and sought," he explained.

Until finally at an unexpected moment he ventured to ask Baim Wong for permission to wear a hijab.

"I don't know why, what moment I was also confused, suddenly in the morning I told Baim 'I gave permission to wear the hijab,' then he said 'yes,' I said 'about it I'm also afraid to die'," he said.
