Yerin Ha Reveals Moment Of Being The Main Actor Of Bridgerton 4

JAKARTA - Yerin Ha was announced as the main character of the fourth season of the Bridgerton series. This is a career change for him who is known for his supporting character position in several projects.

Shondaland shared Yerin Ha's latest interview with his co-star, Luke Thompson where they answered some questions about themselves and the hit series.

The character name Yerin Ha will be changed from Sophie Total to Sophie Baek to reflect on the Korean side in her character. Sophie's story with Benedict is seen in Julia Quinn's An Offer from a Gentleman novel. Later, the novel will be adapted into the fourth season of the Bridgerton series.

When I got the role, I was having breakfast with my mother at a cafe in Korea and I left the cafe. It was so funny because she (mother) knew when I jumped in the middle of the street Gangnam that I got her role, "said Yerin Ha.

However, on that day the mother felt moved to tears and felt nauseous. They immediately returned home but the mother was happy to hear her son got the role.

"He cried and after calling, he said 'We have to go home. I think I feel stomach pain' so we go. It feels good to share that moment with him," he said again.

My friend also said, "Oh my God. You're Bridgerton!", he imitated.

Yerin Ha was announced as Sophie on September 11 to be the co-star of Benedict Bridgerton played by Luke Thompson.

"To the readers, the next social season preparations are underway and let's welcome new members Ton... Yerin Ha as Sophie on Bridgerton 4," Netflix said in a statement.
