Ruben Onsu And Sarwendah Officially Divorce Without Claims For Custody Of Children And Marriage

JAKARTA - The couple Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah were finally officially divorced by the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court today, Tuesday, September 24.

This decision was conveyed by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Tumpanuli Marbun, who said that the divorce of Ruben and Sarwendah was decided by verstek.

"Both after several trials, the divorce lawsuit filed by Ruben Onsu's brother against his wife today, the South Jakarta panel of judges has decided the case verstek in the sense of the absence of the plaintiff," said Tumpanuli Marbun at his office, Tuesday, September 24.

"As for the decision from the Court, that the Court granted the lawsuit in its entirety, namely stating that the plaintiff's marriage and defendant was terminated due to divorce," he said.

Then regarding the custody of children and Tumpanuli's livelihood, he explained that from the start there had never been any submission of demands related to it, so the judge did not consider it.

"Because from the start, neither this nor child custody were ever requested by the plaintiff so that the panel of judges did not consider it," he said.

Previously, Ruben Onsu filed for divorce from his wife, Sarwendah, at the South Jakarta District Court.

Ruben Onsu filed the divorce suit through his attorney, Minola Sebayang, since June 9, 2024. Ruben Onsu himself only filed for divorce from Sarwendah without custody of children to foreign property.
