Kim Taeri And Dream Of Being A Singer Through Drama Teaser Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born

JAKARTA - Disney + Hotstar released the first teaser for the latest Korean drama, Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born. The drama, which is adapted from this popular webtoon, stars Kim Tae Ri and a number of other talented actresses and actors.

This first teaser features Jeong Nyeon, played by Kim Tae Ri, wearing her admiration when she sees Gukguek-dan's performance, a Korean classic opera.

So impressed, Jeong Nyeon imagines herself on stage with an extraordinary performance that the audience appreciates. But everything changed when Jeong Nyeon saw the reality that was in front of her.

Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born tells the story of postwar Korea, in an era full of will and aspirations, an ordinary girl who has nothing but dreams and extraordinary voices will try to beat obstacles and become the best player.

Jeong Nyeon, a participant in the training of Maeran Gukgeuk-dan (Teater company), competes and thrives with her biggest rival, Youngseo (Shin Ye Eun). With a dream to become one of the best players in the Korean female classic opera, she will appear on stage where all obstacles block her.

Besides Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun, this drama also stars Ra Mi Ran, Jung Eun Chae, Kim Yoon Hye, Seung Hee OH MY GIRL, Jung Lael, Chase Jenny, Min Kyung A, and Woo Da Vi. The drama is written by Choi Hyobi and directed by Jung Jiin.

Jeongnyeon is Kim Tae Ri's latest drama after the drama Revenant in 2023. He also won Daesang thanks to his extraordinary acting.

Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born will air starting October 12.
