YOGYAKARTA The soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolah, which airs on one of the national television stations, has made quite an impression on the memory of many people. One of the most iconic of the soap opera is the house where Si Doel's old shooting was.

Si Doel's house does look beautiful with a typical atmosphere in the Betawi countryside, native to Jakarta. So iconic, the house of Mak Nyak, played by Aminah Cendrakasih and Babeh, played by Benjamin, is the original picture of the Betawi traditional house.

As is known, Si Doel's house in the soap opera was built with wooden boards painted yellow-green. On the front there is a wide terrace with a bamboo dip which Babe is often used to sleep and enjoy his days.

Unfortunately, the condition of the house has changed a lot now. The reason is, the house in the Karang Tengah area, South Jakarta was renovated by the owner of the house. Some parts of the house still maintain their authenticity, but many have changed.

However, the decision taken by the original owner of the house could not be disturbed considering that Si Doel's house at that time was only rented.

The real names of the owners of Si Doel's house are Maya and Rachmat Hidayat. Maya herself only inherited the house from Muhammad Ishak or Haji Tatung who is her in-laws.

The news of the dismantling of Si Doel's house also reached the ears of Rano Karno, the original cast of Doel in the soap opera. Launching from the YouTube scene of Rano's Rano Karno, the demolition was carried out because the land used to build the house had the status of a leased land.
