Thanks To Supernova, Aespa Sliding NewJeans From The Throne Of Melon Music Charts

JAKARTA - aespa officially shifted NewJeans from the first place on the Melon music charts. Their latest song, Supernova became the song with the longest number one acquisition on Melon for 15 weeks.

Previously, the longest number one position was filled by the song Ditto from NewJeans. This song ranks first on Melon for 14 weeks.

Over time, aespa released Supernova as a pre-release song before launching their latest album, Armageddon. The song began to rise in music rankings to sit in first place for 15 weeks from June to August.

Different from Supernova, the main track that was championed, namely Armageddon, has consistently occupied 19th position.

Tuesday, September 3 at the time of writing, Supernova's position was replaced by Band-Aid, the latest song from the newly released DAY6 band.

On the other hand, aespa got a record as the longest-standing number one song in Melon's music charts history for 20 years. The platform started its music charts since November 2004.

Apart from Melon, Supernova's song also still occupies number one on the Genie music charts at the same time.

Aespa is on a SYNK world tour: PARRREL LINE which is held in several countries, one of which is Indonesia. After Jakarta in August, aespa continued their tour of Australia, Macau, and Thailand.
