Lee Sun Kyun's Last Film, Land Of Happiness Releases In Indonesia September 4

JAKARTA - The last film by actor Lee Sun Kyun, Land of Happiness will be shown in Indonesian cinemas. This film is the second film from the actor before he died in 2023.

This film has been produced in 2022, but the broadcast plan was stopped after Lee Sun Gyun was involved in a drug case and died.

Land of Happiness tells the story of Jung In Hoo (Jo Jung Suk), a lawyer who struggles to save Park Tae Joo (Lee Sun Kyun) from a deadly situation due to a 1979 presidential murder report.

Director Choo Chang Min told the reason Lee Sun Kyun wanted to join was because he wanted to compete acting with Jo Jung Suk.

Lee Sun Kyun told me she thought Jo Jung Suk was a very good actor and she wanted to work together. "I was surprised to see a great actor who had curiosity and aspirations," said director Choo Cang Min quoting the Korea Herald.

This film is an adaptation of a real incident when former President Park Chung Hee was killed on October 26, 1979. Lee Sun Kyun plays Park Tae Joo, a military officer involved in a phenomenal case in Korean history. Jo Jung Suk plays Jung In Hoo, a lawyer who believes in victory or defeat at trial.

This film also stars Yoo Jae Myung, Jin Ki Joo, Kang Mal Geum, Choi Won Young, Jeon Bae Soo, Song Young Kyu, Woo Hyun, and many others.

CBI Pictures as the distributor announced that the film Land of Happiness could be watched in Indonesian cinemas. They said, 'Park Tae-joo (LEE Sun-Kyun) will face an unfair court and lawyer JUNG In-hoo (CHO Jung-seok) will desperately defend his client in LAND OF HAPPY. Showing in theaters starting September 4th!'

This film is Lee Sun Kyun's second film to be shown in Indonesian cinemas this year.
