Involved In Sexual Harassment Case, Taeil Officially Leaves NCT!

JAKARTA - SM Entertainment announced that Taeil was officially expelled from NCT. This shocking news was due to the singer being linked to a sexual harassment case.

"This is SM Entertainment. We just found out that Taeil is accused of a criminal case related to sexual harassment," said SM Entertainment as the agency that oversees Taeil and NCT on Wednesday, August 28.

"As we are processing issues, we assess the tough situation and decide Taeil cannot continue activities with the team (NCT)," he said.

They discussed with Taeil and the vocalist decided to leave the group that made his name.

After discussing with Taeil, we decided he left the group, continued the agency.

"Currently Taeil is fully cooperative with police investigations. We will provide a new statement in accordance with the investigation process," they said.

In short, the agency apologized to the public who felt aggrieved by this news.

"We apologize deeply for the concerns caused by our artist," concluded the agency.

Before leaving NCT, Taeil had time to undergo a vacuum due to a motorcycle collision in 2023. He was still present at the fan meeting celebration of NCT 127's debut.

He also participated in NCT 127's latest album, Walk with a music video of the same name. Taeil still appears in several events with members.
