Vino G. Bastian Ready To Tuntun Angga Yunanda At The First Teaser For The Film My Annoying Brother

JAKARTA - BASE Entertainment and Lifelike Pictures launched the first teaser for the film My Annoying Brother. This film is adapted from a South Korean film of the same name produced by CJ ENM.

Dirahkan Dinna Jasanti, teaser berdurasi satu menit ini menunjukkan Angga Yunanda dan Vino G. Bastian menjadi saudara akan tinggal bersama. Angga Yunanda yang merupakan seorang atlet judo harus tinggal dengan Vino G. Bastian yang berperan sebagai mantan penjara.

My Annoying Brother tells the story of Kemal (Angga Yunanda), a national judo athlete who gets injured in a match to lose his vision. The complexity arises with the arrival of his brother, Jay (Vino G. Bastian), an inmate who tries to reduce his sentence on the grounds of having to take care of Kemal, the only family remaining.

Now, Kemal has to face Jay's messy behavior and improve their relationship, while accepting a new reality and rebuilding his confidence.

This teaser shows a little of the complexities Kemal will face when Jay comes and lives with him. They will experience ups and downs in one house which is colored by conflict and emotion.

This film is a very interesting adaptation film. Even though the original story is made in Korea, this Indonesian version of the story flows very naturally. The film My Annoying Brother feels warmer and richer emotionally," said Sheila Timothy as the scriptwriter.

In this film My Annoying Brother, what we are trying to lift are things that are close to our culture, Indonesian culture. In addition, throughout the development of this production process, many teams were creatively involved with their respective responses so that this film was born," said director Dinna Jasanti.

My Annoying Brother is also played by Caitlin Halderman and Kristo Immanuel. In the Korean version, this film is played by Doh Kyungsoo EXO and Jo Jung Suk.

The film was produced by Sheila Timothy, Justin Kim, and Aoura Lovenson Chandra and marked their latest work after releasing Life Revocation Night in the first half of 2024.

The film My Annoying Brother will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting October 24, 2024.
