Dion Wiyoko Campaigns For A Green Sustainable Lifestyle

JAKARTA - Elected as the Indonesian International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 Ambassador, Dion Wiyoko integrates an environmentally friendly lifestyle in his daily activities as his commitment to promoting sustainability, such as by using cleaner fuels.

Dion said that by using cleaner fuel, he contributed to the future of the earth and public health.

"I am committed to only using high-quality and environmentally friendly gasoline for my private car. That way, I can minimize the impact of pollution on my vehicle in Jakarta," he said, quoted from a media statement, Saturday, August 24.

The actor also said that he understood the importance of using public transportation in the city. Unfortunately, the frequent and busy shooting schedule made him miss the opportunity to take advantage of the facility.

However, he said, he always tries to take environmentally friendly steps. According to him, it is not a trend, but a commitment.

Because of this commitment, he said, he was chosen as one of the 2024 ISF ambassadors. He also invited the community, especially young people, to be more concerned about sustainability issues, including playing an active role and working together in overcoming the problem of air pollution.

Young people now have great potential to lead to better changes in the future. About sustainability, including air pollution, is the most pressing issue if we want planet Earth to remain habitable for humans, including our children and grandchildren," he added.

Dion's spirit is in line with Indonesia's efforts to raise the issue of sustainability to the global stage. The 2024 ISF, which has now developed into an international forum with a wider reach, is proof of Indonesia's commitment to uniting the strength of developed and developing countries to overcome the climate crisis.

By inviting inspiring figures such as Dion Wiyoko, ISF 2024 is not only talking about change, but also inviting the public to be part of the solution. Following the successful footsteps of the ISF last year, this year Indonesia is ready to re-employ the ISF on a larger scale.

The event, which was initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) together with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), has now transformed into the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) which will take place on September 5-6, 2024.

The ISF transformation is expected to make it an influential international forum in sustainable growth and climate change at the global level.
