Sue Divorce, Jennifer Lopez Files To Remove Ben Affleck's Last Name

JAKARTA - Jennifer Lopez surprised the public by suing Ben Affleck for divorce after two years of marriage. In the reported documents, he proposed several things related to the separation.

Having used her husband's last name, Jennifer Lopez now asks for her real name to be used again, namely Jennifer Lynn Lopez. Quoting People, he asked to remove Affleck's name from his name.

In addition, he said there were differences that could not be resolved as a reason for the separation. He also did not ask for financial support from Ben Affleck.

"The applicant's exact nature and breadth of separate property assets and obligations are not known at this time. The Petitioner has the right to change this application if it is confirmed the same thing," reads one document.

As a result, they are still determining who will get in this divorce. Ben Affleck has not responded to this lawsuit.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022. A month later, they held a ceremony at their wedding.

That same year, Jennifer Lopez revealed that she added to Affleck's last name so she was called up as Mrs. Affleck. He knew the public would call him Jennifer Lopez but he also mentioned his legal name had Affleck's name.

"We are husband and wife. I am proud of that. I don't think that's a problem," said Jennifer Lopez.

"I still like tradition and I do like that," he said again.
