2 Years Of Marriage, Jennifer Lopez Officially Sues For Divorce Ben Affleck!

JAKARTA - Jennifer Lopez officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage. 17 years after separating, they got into a relationship in 2021 and decided to continue to a serious level.

Citing TMZ, Lopez's side filed for divorce from the Los Angeles Court which mentioned April 26, 2024 as the date of their separation. Jennifer Lopez sued without using a lawyer and took care of her own divorce.

They married in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022, but they marked August 20 as their wedding considering they held a traditional ceremony in Georgia on that date.

They did not make pre-wedding agreements and they are said to be more focused on their children as a priority.

"He (Jennifer Lopez) is really trying to take care of everything and he's hurt. Children are top priority, like before," said a source.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were engaged and postponed their wedding which was supposed to be held in September 2003. Then they chose to break up in January 2004 and separate until they married someone else.

17 years since the separation, they returned in 2021. They got engaged in April 2022 and got married in July. They often appear together, especially when collaborating on Lopez's musical documentary titled This Is Me... Now: A Love Story along with a new album.

In May, news of their separation began to emerge after Jennifer Lopez appeared without Affleck at the 2024 Met Gala and promotion of her film and concert tour. Ben Affleck filmed his latest The Accountant 2 and they looked different throughout July.

Even when Lopez was his birthday, Ben Affleck was still in Los Angeles while Lopez was in New York. The two of them also sold their home in Beverly Hills.
