Kimberly Border Confirms Edward Akbar's Divorce Without Family Intervention

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for Kimberly Border and Edward Akbar was held again at the Central Jakarta Religious Court today, Wednesday, August 14. Both Kimberly and Edward attended a trial scheduled for mediation.

Before entering the trial, Edward, who insisted on referring to Kimberly, admitted that he had difficulty because he felt there was intervention from outside parties who allegedly referred to Kimberly Border's mother and sister.

Edward said that this intervention finally made it difficult for him to get well.

"If there is still intervention, it will be a bit difficult (to refer). There is a hadith, household matters are resolved internally, so that there are no other parties, so they don't runyam," said Edward Akbar at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, August 14.

Knowing this, Kimberly admitted that she was confused in responding to this. The reason is that Kim feels that there is no intervention from her family.

"It's also confused because from my family there is no intervention, only I also don't have the type of person who talks to my family, what do you talk to my parents, only he feels there is intervention from my family but I have already told you there is no intervention at all," explained KimberlyRIDer.

He emphasized that his decision to divorce Edward was his own decision because he was mature enough to choose his way of life.

"It's really purely my own desire because it's been through this for a long time and I'm already big, you know, I'm an adult, I can make my own decisions," said Kim.

He continued that Edward may feel his family is interfering because Kim is already at the point of needing help from the family.

"So, from the family, maybe he feels interfering because I'm at the end of the point, I already need family help, finally his family came in. Because at the end," he said.
