Jenna Ortega Opens Voice After Controversy Often Changes Wednesday Series Script

JAKARTA - Two years passed, Jenna Ortega finally opened her voice about her words which became controversial about the Wednesday series which was released in 2022.

When attending as a guest on Armchair Expert's podcast, Jenna Ortega revealed that she changed several dialogues for Wednesday's character that she felt had crossed the limits of her character. Some of them are a sub plot about love triangles and Wednesday's reactions trying out new clothes.

Jenna Ortega explained that she often changes what is in the script because she feels she has to protect her character. This statement made Ortega reap a negative response by a number of writers because of her actions that were deemed disrespectful of the hard work of the serial writer.

The 21-year-old actress opened her voice about the Wednesday series which tells of her character entering the Nevermore Academy who is investigating a number of murder cases.

He returned to controversy after saying he would change the script that he disagreed with. In her latest interview, Jenna Ortega realized she should be involved with the development of characters including her dialogue.

I think it's natural when I want your voice to be heard. I realized my position as an actor. I know I'm not involved (writing) but with someone like Wednesday that appears in every scene, it makes sense for that person to be behind the scenes because he's on every second of his project, "said Jenna Ortega quoting Screen Rant.

"And when I think about my job, there are a lot of conversations I have had with producers at some time," he said.

He realized his words sounded wrong and he should appreciate the performance of the serial writers. He is also relaxed if people look at him negatively.

I should have used better words to describe everything. Often I speak outspoken. If I can explain my situation well, maybe it would be better, "said Jenna Ortega.

Some people may not like you, and so do they. I was quite fed up with myself last year. My face is everywhere. So if I open my phone and see the same woman as the other stupid quotes, I feel it too," he said.

The series is confirmed to continue into season two and Jenna Ortega is one of the producers of the series.
