When Jerome Kurnia And Lukman Sardi Become Pastors In The First Teaser Of Dominion of Darkness

JAKARTA - Ideosource and Paragon Pictures launched the first teaser for Bobby Prasetyo's latest film titled Dominion of Darkness. This film is an adaptation of a true story about Catholic exorcise rarely featured in Indonesian horror films.

This less than a minute teaser features two priests, Father Rendra (Lukman Sardi) and Father Thomas (Jerome Kurnia). Getting used to handling cases of possession, this new case turned out to be more serious than they saw.

The Dominion of Darkness of tells the story of Father Rendra (Lukman Sardi) and Father Thomas (Jerome Kurnia) undergoing exorcism as a ritual of expulsion of demons in Catholicism. One time, Kayla (Lea Ciarachel) was possessed, Father Rendra and Father Thomas had the ritual of exorcism as usual.

But it turns out that the Kayla case is a more serious case than can be seen. Maya (Astrid Tiar), Ms. Kayla, who has a dark past, is suspected of having contributed to this increasingly complicated case of possession.

This case of possession is getting serious when the devil in Kayla's body not only threatens Kayla's life but also the lives of Maya and her friends.

The Dominion of Darkness stars Lukman Sardi, Jerome Kurnia, Astrid Tiar, Lea Ciarachel, kiosk JKT48, and Delia Husein. The film was produced by Robert Ronny, Andi Boediman, Pandu Birantoro, and Arvin Sutedja.

Since watching the film The Exorcist, I have dreamed of watching Indonesian horror films with the theme "Catholic Exorcism". After conducting a long research and participating in an exorcism workshop with the Catholic Father who was recognized as Exorcist by Vatican, we received full support from the Indonesian Catholic Church," said the producer of the film Dominion of Darkness, Robert Ronny.

We created a tense and authentic atmosphere, through real experiences of exorcism in Indonesia. I believe this film will provide a new and thrilling horror experience for the audience," said Bobby Prasetyo.

The film Dominion of Darkness will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting October 3, 2024.
