Ticket Guitarist Arden Wiebowo Debuts As Soloist Through A Small Winged Single

JAKARTA - After more than two decades in the country's music industry, as a Tiket guitarist who later became also a session player for Marcello Tahitoe alias Ello, Arden Wiebowo took a new step for her solo music project.

In the midst of his busy schedule with Tiket, the 43-year-old guitarist introduced himself as a soloist through his debut single titled Small Wing which has been released since last October.

The decision to undergo a solo project does not come without reason. Arden wants to work on a different path dedicated to her loved ones.

"So far I have not been confident enough to sing my own songs. But it seems that in life there is no word too late, and I really want to have a work that can be dedicated to my family, relatives and everyone," said Arden Wiebowo in a press release to VOI, Friday, November 22.

Small Wings were chosen as debut singles because they brought an in-depth message. This song tells about the longing and expression of the feeling of love for a father who is busy working not knowing the time of his son who always gives him the spirit of life.

"The process of making the song didn't take long, because it started by writing writing that flowed, then I put it in the notation of the song," said Arden.

Given his image as a guitarist, the single Small Wing features musical arrangements that rely on guitar playing, where the scores are played along with song melodies.

I also made an arrangement all myself at home, with the existing equipment and with a simple concept, the important thing is the message arrives. "The old one actually had the courage to finally decide to release my work," he said.

In addition to highlighting the strength of song lyrics, Arden also wants to present another side of herself as a guitarist with rock music, with an electronic clean recovery guitar arrangement.

"My hope is that my work, entitled Small Wings', can have the opportunity and represent the expression of the hearts of all parents to their children," added Arden.

Small Wing is the beginning of Arden's solo career. This single will be followed by another release, which at its peak will be released with a full album containing ten songs which are planned to be introduced next year.
