Rival Love tells the story of Young General He Jing Yao (Li Ruo Tian) as a leader who wants to expand the strength of the He family troops.

He tried by visiting Banyue City under the pretext of marrying the daughter of a Su family named Su Mei (Wang Jun Bi). Currently, a series of cases of murder of brides have occurred in the city.

To protect Banyue City and her family, Su Mei, the eldest daughter of the Su family, collaborated with He Jing Yao, to fight a greedy and evil opponent.

From tests, suspicions and exploitation of each other to mutual respect and heal each other, they finally uncover many mysteries side by side and find the truth and light.
