Arrested, Former Fuji Manager Claims To Embezzled Up To IDR 1.3 Billion

The West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has succeeded in arresting the former manager of celebrity Fuji, Batara Ageng for the alleged embezzlement of money.

This was confirmed directly by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Andri Kurniawan. Where he said that Batara had been detained since Saturday, June 29 yesterday.

In this case, Batara was reported by Fuji under Article 374 of the Criminal Code and or Article 372 of the Criminal Code in September 2023.

"It is true that we have detained BA's brother. After we investigated the suspect, we have been detained since Saturday, June 29, 2024," said Andri Kurniawan via text message, Friday, July 5.

For now, Andri said that Batara had just admitted that she had embezzled money belonging to Fadly Faisal's younger brother worth Rp1.3 billion.

The money itself is payment money from cooperation between brands and 21 other jobs carried out by the owner of Fujianti Utami's full name.

"The Batara Ageng suspect confirmed that the total nominal amount of IDR 1,312,997,100 payments from brands and or agencies from 21 jobs carried out by sister Fujianti Utami Putri," explained Andri Kurniawan.

Andri said that the money was put by Batara into his personal account and was not reported to Fuji.

"(The money) went into the account of the reported personal bank and the money was not reported and was not given to sister Fujianti Utami Putri," he explained.
