Edwin And Putri Marino's Latest Film, Barbed Fog Airs August 1

JAKARTA - Director Edwin will present his latest work, a film called Mist Berduri. The film produced by Netflix with Palari Films carries the genre of investigation and crime.

This film has been in production in Kalimantan since last year. The production process is in collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy and Tourism. Several premieres of the film have also been released Netflix featuring Putri Marino with curly and short hair.

Tempt Berduri tells of a detective who is forced to face his past when he investigates a mysterious serial murder case on the border between Indonesia and Malaysia.

The film combines intense crime investigation elements with deep exploration of social issues, providing an exciting and inspiring viewing experience.

Apart from Putri Marino, this film also stars Yoga Pratama, Lukman Sardi, Yudi Ahmad Tajudin, Yusuf Mahardika, Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin, Kiki Narendra, Siti Fauziah, and Sita Nursanti.

Tempt Berduri is Edwin's second collaboration with Netflix after releasing the film Ali and Ratu-Rutu Queens in 2021. Then, the film Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas was also released on Netflix after showing in theaters.

Unlike Putri Marino, who collaborated for the third time with Netflix after the film The Big 4 and the series Gadis Kretek, both of which became hit globally.

Edwin is the winner of a number of international awards, such as Golden Leopard at the 2021 Locarno Film Festival and Best Director and Best Adaptation Screenwriter at the 2022 Indonesian Film Festival for films Like Revenge, Longing Must Be Paid Completely.

The film Mist Berduri will be released on Netflix on August 1.
