Timo Tjahjanto Directs Bob Odenkirk In Nobody 2

JAKARTA - Bob Odenkirk will return to the sequel to the film Nobody with a different director. Timo Tjahjanto, the director from Indonesia will direct the sequel.

Universal Pictures announced that the production of the film Nobody 2 will begin in August. Apart from Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen is said to be returning to playUS Mansell.

Nobody 2 will be written by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem, and Odekirk. Previously, the first film was directed by Ilya Naishuller in March 2021.

The first film grossed 57 million US dollars during its broadcast amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The production house also expressed their desire to make a sequel to this film.

Earlier this year, Connie Nielsen confirmed that she would return to play the character of Bob Odenkirk's wife in the sequel.

Nobody tells the story of a man with a family whose true identity, a hitman is revealed after two thieves broke into his house. He was involved in a bloody war with the Russian crime boss on his way.

Timo Tjahjanto is known for a number of his thriller films such as The Night Comes for Us and Before the Devils Picked him up. Together with his collaborator, Kimo Stamboel, they directed the Dara House, Killers, and Headshots.

This is his latest work after making the film The Big 4 in 2022. He was also appointed as director of a Korean film reboot entitled Train to Busan. The film is titled The Last Train to New York.

On the other hand, the film Nobody 2 is planned to air on August 15, 2025.
