Children Fail To Select The U-16 National Team, Darius Sinathrya And Donna Agnesia Still Give Support

JAKARTA - The couple Darius Sinathrya and Donna Agnesia revealed that their child, Diego, failed to enter the selection of the U-16 national team. They feel grateful to their son who has tried to become one of 23 players in the competition.

"It's not the end deck! Last night Diego and two of his friends were told to leave the team because they were not included in the list of 23 players who will compete in the AFF U-16," Darius wrote via his Instagram account.

A journey and valuable experience for Diego could have had a selection opportunity and continued with the TC program for almost 2 months, training alongside the best young talents with very intense programs," he said.

Through his post, Darius also thanked Diego's coach who had trained his son to train to take part in the selection.

"Thank you Coach @novarianto30 and the entire coaching team for giving Diego the opportunity and trust so far, everything will be a provision for Diego to be even better. Sorry if you haven't been able to meet the team's expectations and needs, Diego's next chance will be more mature and mature in the game," he said.

"The best prayers and support for the U-16 national team at the AFF event are coming soon, hopefully they can perform optimally and defend the title, we will always support Indonesian football, all the best guys!" concluded Darius.

Darius Sinathrya explained in May that his son was summoned to take part in the U-16 national team selection in Jogjakarta. He also feels proud and sincere about whatever the results will be.

"Whatever the result will be, papa & mama will remain proud. This opportunity comes as a result of hard work, sacrifice and commitment since childhood, which forms Diego now," he said.

"If it is feasible, it will definitely be visible and have the opportunity to be elected. If it has not been elected, it is not the end of everything, it means that we still have to continue to work hard to pursue the dream of becoming a professional football player," wrote Darius.
