Ria Ricis's Personal Photo And Video That Was Hacked Was Uploaded By The Suspect To 3 Social Media

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said it had arrested a suspect in the alleged extortion and threats against Ria Ricis. This arrest took place on Monday, June 10, at 01.20 WIB in the morning at the residence of the perpetrator with the initials AP. Currently AP is immediately detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center.

"Against the suspect AP himself, after an arrest attempt was made, a series of investigations or statements were made against the suspect AP and at 20.00 WIB, on Monday, June 10, 2024, the suspect AP was then detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center for further investigation," said Dirkrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, Tuesday, June 11.

Ade Safri explained that AP had not yet been sent Rp. 300 million as a form of extortion against Ria Ricis. However, he had uploaded photos and personal videos belonging to Ria Ricis to her 3 social media, namely Instagram, Twitter or X, and TikTok.

"The money requested by the suspect AP against the victim has not been given, but then this suspect is only limited to illegally accessing the victim's electronic system," said Ade Safri.

"This contains information and electronic documents belonging to the victim, then uploaded them on 3 social media accounts belonging to the suspect AP, both Instagram, and Twitter, including TikTok," continued Ade Safri.

After doing this, AP conducted a screenshot of the three social media and gave it to Ria Ricis's manager as a form of blasphemy that would be distributed.

"And then the suspect took a screenshot of the three accounts made by the suspect AP which were made private," he explained.

"Then it was sent to the manager or assistant rather than the reporter or victim to threaten the victim to give Rp. 300 million," he said.
