JAKARTA - Celebrity Ario Bayu is trusted to play in a silent and black and white film produced by director Garin Nugroho entitled Samsara named Darta.

For Ario Bayu, being invited to play deeply and black and white is an opportunity that he rarely gets as an actor.

As an actor born from theater, Ario Bayu said that this experience made him seem to come back to life as an actor

"But from the perspective of this player, I rarely get the opportunity to be able to feel alive again as an actor," said Ario Bayu in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, Friday, May 31.

"I was born from a theater where the stage has a different artistic texture," he added.

Therefore, the Kretek Girl series player immediately accepted the offer to play in this film because it made him remember his active days at the theater.

"On the first day Mbak Gita called me, met a meeting and pitched his idea I immediately felt like I was going back to me first, where there was a medium that I had never explored and of course with Mas Garin I immediately jumped into the umbrella. I immediately went straight away, 'Come on, Git, come on'," said Ario Bayu.

In addition, for Ario Bayu, who also experienced boredom in carrying out his profession when he got this role, he felt very honored and proud.

"And this is an opportunity for me where sometimes in an industry we have experienced such cycles where sometimes boredom occurs and here I feel alive again," explained Ario Bayu.

"I actually feel proud, feel privilege can contribute to this film," he said.
