The Strange Princess tells the story of the bandit King of Mount Ma Da Qing (Yu Xuan Chen) kidnapping Princess Jiang Qian Er (Lu Zhao Hua) and accidentally struck by lightning in the process. Surprisingly, they exchanged bodies and even shared feelings with each other, related to each other in fate.

Jiang Qian Er wants to exchange again and marry his favorite young general Lu Tian Xing, and Ma Da You also wants to take revenge for his father. Both have no choice but to compromise with reality and work together to overcome various difficulties.

Prince Ying secretly planned an uprising, sending people into Ma Da You's stronghold and taking control to serve as a secret military base.

Jiang Qian Er, Ma Da You, and Lu Tian Xing moved to Prince Ying's house, each with their own goals: Jiang Qian Er to investigate the deaths of Ma Da You and Lu Tian Xing's father to find evidence of Prince Ying's betrayal.
