Fire On Stage, Aespa Appears Three Promotions Without Winter

JAKARTA - Aespa experienced unpleasant events. Today, Thursday, May 16, they are scheduled to make recordings for performances at the local M Countdown music show.

However, a small fire broke out in aespa's set at the end of the stage. The four aespa members who will promote their new songs are already on the spot.

When the pre-recorded session at M Countdown, the fire was at the edge of the stage. The fire can be detected and immediately extinguished and at the same time, artists and audiences are evacuated from the stage, "said Mnet.

"All M Countdown sets have sets of materials without fire and we will check the status of improvements so that incidents like this don't happen again," they continued.

Mnet said no one had physical injuries and confirmed that the artist who was performing on stage was aespa. They then explained that the recording for aespa's appearance was over and no recordings were made after aespa.

A few hours later, SM Entertainment announced that one of the aespa members, Winter, would sit during his performance due to his health condition.

Today, a problem occurred during the pre-record at M Countdown. After that, it was decided that Winter needed rest and stability due to his health condition," said SM Entertainment.

"So only Karina, Giselle, and Ningning are present on stage. Winter's participation in other schedules will be determined according to their health conditions," concluded the agency.

Aespa will promote the song Supernova, a pre-release song from their latest album which will be released on 27 May.
