K-pop Icon, Jennie BLACKPINK And Stray Kids Present At Met Gala

JAKARTA - The 2024 Met Gala event was attended by several figures from the K-pop industry. 2 big names, namely Jennie BLACKPINK and Stray Kids, attended the biggest fashion event in New York.

Jennie, who was present in her second year wearing a blue Alaia dress combined with a silver earrings. Designed by Pieter Mullier, the dress Jennie wore was a dress that was up to 13 meters long.

"I feel nervous but because last year I attended the Met Gala, I became a little calmer," Jennie said.

Jennie's usually loose hair also looks different from braided. Not to forget he also wore a colored sheet similar to his dress.

Meanwhile, there is Stray Kids who marked their debut on the Met Gala stage. If in the previous year K-pop idols were present individually, but not with eight members of Stray Kids who became the first K-pop group to attend the Met Gala.

These eight members wore special-designed suits and clothes from Tommy Hilfiger who dominated in red, white, and black. They even arrived on the red carpet with the legend Tommy Hilfiger.

"Representing Tommy Hilfiger as eight members for the first time at the Met Gala is a moment of honor for all of us," said Felix, a member of Stray Kids.

"If it weren't for Tommy, we wouldn't be here," said Bang Chan.

Jennie and Stray Kids directly occupy trending topics on social media because of their presence at the 2024 Met Gala.
