The Idea of You tells the story of Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old mother who is in love with Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the 24-year-old vocalist of the August Moon boyband. Their relationship began when Solène was about to take her son to the Coachella festival.
