Former Manager Supports Testimony At Divorce Trial, Teuku Ryan Optimistic Rujuk

JAKARTA - The Divorce Session of Teuku Ryan and Ria Ricis was again held with the agenda of a witness from Ryan's side, Derry Syahputra, who is his former manager. After the trial, Teuku Ryan explained the reason he asked Derry to be a witness at his divorce trial.

He admitted that he did not intend to attack Ria Ricis by presenting Derry as a witness. The reason is, Derry is considered to be familiar with their domestic relationship because he is a friend of both Ryan and Ricis.

"The point is that I and my witnesses don't want to attack, we just want to unite, I don't want to attack, basically I just want to defend my household," said Teuku Ryan at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Monday, April 1.

"So it doesn't attack Ricis, because the witness is my friend, Ricis's friend too, so here, God willing, to unite our household," he continued.

Teuku Ryan's attorney, Dedi Rizal Armidi, said that Derry's testimony was sufficient to support his client in maintaining the household.

"The witness had heard his statement, Derry's brother. And it was enough to convey it very well," said Dedi Rizal Armidi.

"So there is nothing to doubt, his statement is quite comprehensive, quite clear, can build enough and the main thing is to keep Rian and Ricis together," he continued.

Seeing this, Teuku Ryan is again optimistic to be able to maintain his household with Ria Ricis as he wanted from the start.

"Oh yes, we are still optimistic (refer)," concluded Dedi.
