West Jakarta Prosecutor's Office Decides To Detain Ammar Zoni At Salemba Rutan For 20 Days

JAKARTA - Artist and suspect in drug abuse case, Ammar Zoni was finally detained at the Salemba detention center for the next 20 days.

Previously, the Ammar Zoni, represented by his attorney, Jon Mathias, had submitted files and evidence to the West Jakarta District Attorney.

"So we have handed over the suspect Ammar Zoni or often called stage 2, stage 2, which is the submission of files and evidence. Then we will transfer it to the West Jakarta court," explained Hendri Antoro as Head of the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Thursday, March 28.

Hendri said that Irish Bella's ex-husband would be detained at the Salemba Rutan starting today after the administration has been completed.

"Detention will go to the detention center later and we have coordinated with the detention center. (Rutan) Salemba and today," continued Hendri Antoro.

Jon Totaling, Ammar Zoni's attorney said that his client would be detained at the Salemba Rutan for approximately 20 days starting from today.

"The first 20 days of detention will be detained. But usually in the Criminal Code, once the official report has been submitted, the suspect is now a defendant, usually 14 days after being sent to court at the prosecutor's office," he concluded.

During his transfer to the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Hendri Antoro said that Ammar Zoni was acting cooperatively.

"Cooperative and of course we will all take measured steps in accordance with the norms, applicable laws," he concluded.
